A subtle deception of the enemy is to use an “idea” about God to stir up emotions which take us out of the present moment where we might otherwise actually be with God.

There is a coupling between this life and next. What you do now immediately carves out and molds your habitation in the kingdom of heaven. It’s not a question of now and later, it’s immediate. God is outside of time. You are already in the kingdom of the next world it is just that the veil has not yet been lifted. Each act of love enlarges the heart for God – increases the space of your habitation in glory.
